Waterfall of Wellness is a new sponsor of Angel Hugs charity. A portion of all sales are donated to www.angelhugs.ca to purchase yarn to create handmade items for those facing illness, trauma and abuse.
Our founder, Carissa Beresford and her mother started volunteering with Angel Hugs when she was thirteen and they are still members today! Giving back to the community is very important to Carissa and her family. In 2019, Carissa and her mother were the recipients of the City of Mississauga Civic Award of Recognition and the Ward 9 Volunteer Award showing their dedication to the community.
This sponsorship was an easy decision and we feel aligned in our missions and values. Angel Hugs provides so much comfort and love in the community. "A hug in every stitch" is their slogan. This shows the intention of love being wrapped in every stitch of the beauitful handmade creations. We are hounoured to have the privilege of working with Angel Hugs to serve the GTA.
